Oh Hey Friday!

Blogging is hard with a baby. I don't know how so many people do it. But I'm going to really try to get back into it. And what better way then with my girl Karli over at September Farm for 5 Things Friday?! So let's jump right in shall we?

1. Yes, blogging is hard. It's even harder when your house is just a minute from the lake! Our new house is right by Hayden Lake and we are loving it. Mr Sawyer man loves the water and would play all day in it if I would let him. His favorite thing to do is to close his eyes, open his mouth and just go crazy splashing his little arms. We are not so popular in swim class where we are in close proximity to lots of other people.

2. We had an awesome low key 4th of July with some of my favorite peeps. We ate yummy food, put off some fireworks for the babies in attendance, and then found out that we can see the big fireworks from our house! Score! And Sawyer slept through all of them which was surprising because they. were. loud. Double score.

3. My little sister Nicolett is starting up her own blog. This is great news because she is hilarious. Much funnier than me. And I'm sure that she will make you all laugh on the reg. So check her out.

This picture of her has been pinned over 1000 times, so she's pretty cool.

4. We are going camping this weekend! I'm a little nervous about how Sawyer is going to do out there in the woods without his sound machine and AC and a bath every night. But we're going to try it out and see how it goes! I love camping and so does Justin, so this is definitely something we want to share with our children. So I might as well start now and get all the kinks worked out, yea?

5. Speaking of Mr. Minert. We celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary last week (ish... i told ya, blogging is hard)! And this last year was a busy one! We built a house, we had a baby, we moved! But it was a fun one! We went out to a Brazilian restaurant for dinner, and ice cream after, it was perfection. I sure do love this guy!

Alright! Wish me luck camping! I'll let you all know how it goes!

  1. Happy anniversary! Sounds like you had a busy year!

Have so much fun camping! I'd love to take my future kids camping someday too so I'm curious to see how your little man does!

  2. Good luck with camping!! I'm sure it will be absolutely awesome. Also, your picture of Sawyer in his life jacket is pretty much the cutest thing I've seen. Absolutely adorable.
