Mom's Weekend 2013

This last weekend I ventured down to Moscow for Mom's Weekend. I am so lucky that I have such amazing siblings that love me, and don't mind me tagging along for their Mom's Weekend. Plus I got to spend some time with me momma, which is always great!

Here's 10 great things I loved about my weekend:
1. Seeing family. Of course.
2. Getting to see the wonderful KKG and all of the girls there, and getting to sleep there again!
3. Playing a serious amount of BOOM. Pro Status now. (kinda)
4. Playing with my brother's roommate's cat's kittens! So Precious!
5. Playing with Kaity's adorable baby Rue!
6. Meeting my sister's man.
7. Beer Darts. Mom's Weekend Tradition.
8. Borrowing clothes from my sister.
9. Getting to see Kristen and Shelbea. Such a fun surprise.
10. Catching up with people I don't get to see very often.

Here's some great pictures from my weekend:

I know... I missed my calling as an animal photographer. =)

Five (more) Things

I've really been neglecting my blog lately. And it's unfortunate because I have had a lot of cool things going on in my life to share about. Here's a recap of some of the best things:

1. My sister spent her entire spring break to come hang out with me. I love getting to spend time with her so that was a blast.

2. While she was here we celebrated her birthday, about 3 times. It was great. We got pedicures, gorged ourselves at Olive Garden, went shopping, it was a lot of fun.

3. My Bridal Shower! I feel so absolutely loved and blessed to have so many people in my life that care so much about me. I had friends and family come from all over the place to spend this special day with me. My sister did such a good job planning, and my mom cooked some delicious food!! AND my wonderful Ama and Doppy who couldn't make it, sent me a Kitchen Aid! So great!

4. At the end of the week before Veronica went home we did a Pub Pedal. One of Justin's friend's dads puts one on about once a month and they are so fun. This one was on St. Patrick's Day and I convinced Veronica to stay one more night and join in. True to Idaho style, we had snow, rain, and sun all in one day!

5. And today was Easter! We went to church with Justin's family, which was great. Then we all had brunch together at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course. Then we hung out outside for the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful weather. I am truly so blessed!

5 Things

Usually when I have a bunch of things I want to tell someone I'll say, "5 things!" Even if it's 2 or 5 or 10 things. But today I actually do have exciting things to tell!

Thing 1: Awhile ago I pinned this recipe for two ingredient banana peanut butter ice cream. I decided to try it the other day and let me just say, it was amazing! So so yummy! Just follow the directions just like it says and you will be so happy! Yum! I think next time I'm going to try it with cocoa too! Justin says its the best thing I have ever made off of pinterest.

Thing 2: I really like making wreaths. It is my goal to have one for every holiday. This month I made a really cool Valentine's Day wreath. I got the idea from this one. But those spiral paper roses looked like a little too much work to me, so I did it just a little different.

Great, right?!

Thing 3: Some of my family came over the Superbowl and it was super wonderful. My mom is from California and so is Justin and all of his family. So it was a pretty big deal over here. Obviously it was a rough night for us but it was still so wonderful to have a bunch of family together. Unfortunately we didn't take any game day pictures. Dumb.

Thing 4: While my family was here we got to take Abbie to get her ears pierced! Normally in my family you have to wait until you are 13 to get your ears pierced. But I, because I'm such a good big sister, convinced my mom that Abbie needed her ears pierced for my wedding, so we went to get them done!

She was a champ! And looked so beautiful.
I also enjoyed being at Claire's for the first time in awhile.

Thing 5: Hot yoga! I have started taking a hot yoga class in Hayden and it is so awesome. It is called The Yoga Room and if you live in this area I highly recommend it! If you don't know what hot yoga is its basically like doing yoga in a sauna. And I purposely did not include a photo of this because I get really sweaty and that would be gross.

Ok that's five things. I usually don't make it to all 5 so be proud!
