Oh Hey Friday!

Today I'm linking up with September Farm and The Farmer's Wife for Oh Hey Friday!

1. I went back to work this week. And I am so so so stoked that it's Friday. I need this weekend so much. It was only a 4 day week too. I don't know what I'm going to do next week. I thought when school started again my blogging would only suffer. But I've been on a roll this week… are you guys sick of me yet?

2. I cannot get enough of All About That Base by Meghan Trainor. With lyrics like,
"All the right junk, in all the right places."
"Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top." and
"Boys like a little more booty to hold at night."
I'm seriously hooked. I'm listening to it on repeat. And the video is great too.

And honorable mention goes to T. Swift because I'm loving Shake It Off too.

3. Justin and I had a meeting with our pediatrician, my 35 week appointment, and also a breast feeding class through the hospital this week. I think I made it home before 8 one time this week. Needless to say, I'm exhausted, but we are ready to meet this little guy!

4. Remember how we're building a house? I haven't really updated you guys much on it, but it's going super well. This week the walls are all framed in and the roof is on it's way! It's crazy that we can walk through the rooms now and start picturing how things are going to be! We're also starting to pick out things like appliances, counter tops, paint colors and all that. It's very exciting!

5. Every now and then the universe starts recommending books to me. It happened to me with Gone Girl, and that ended up being one of my most favorite books ever. Well now the universe is telling me to read Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. It's every where I look. So I'm going to start that asap. Hopefully this weekend. I'd love to hear your opinion if you've read it!

Happy Friday you all! Hope you enjoy your weekend as much as I'm going to!

  1. Excited to see more progress on your house. It would be so fun to build!

  2. Tell me what you think about this book! I have seen it at Powells several times and have almost bought it the last 2 times :)
