What I'm Loving... And also some things I'm not

I try to stay pretty positive. And I think most of the time I do a good job with that. My principal even thanked me yesterday for always bringing the sunshine with me... how sweet is that?

But I have to take a second and let you know some things I am absolutely not loving, before I jump into my regular WILW post.

I am not loving the full moon. Now if you know me personally... you might know that I just don't like the full moon. Period. It creeps me out. But now, as a teacher, I double hate the full moon. Seriously... if you have a teacher in your life ask them. The full moon makes the kids go crazy! This is not a joke. The students in our school have seriously been animals.

Like this scene in Mean Girls. Not even joking.

Monday was the first day I came home from work and did not want to go back. It was bad. But Tuesday was so so so much better, and I'm hoping today will be back to normal.

I am not loving that I had to deal with a dead car battery not once, but twice yesterday. Justin and I thought the car had been running long enough to recharge itself... but we were wrong. And this made me late not only to work, but then to a class I'm taking after work. But like always, I am loving my sweet husband who rescued me both times, even leaving work the second time, and bought me a new battery.

Ok... on to the good!

I am loving that I got invited to a My Favorite Things Party. Who doesn't love parties?! It's not until the beginning of December, but I;m already so excited. And am brainstorming all of the possible things I could bring.

I am loving that I hit 10,000 views on my blog today!! Woot woot! Thank you to everyone who reads this thing!

I am loving that I am making slime in Science today with my students. (To reward them for their great behavior this week!)

I am loving that Justin and I are throwing a little Halloween get together this weekend. So excited!

I am loving that I found a coupon for buy one get one free on my favorite nail polish!  I think I've said this before... but I'll say it again: I love me some OPI and essie polishes, but for me.... my favorite is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. I use essie base coat, Sally Hansen for color, and then essie's Good To Go top coat... and it stays for so long. I love it.

I got Midnight Glitz, from the Bling In the New Year holiday collection.

And Red My Lips... because I can always use a good red.

I am loving that the sixth season of Gossip Girl is FINALLY on Netflix. I was late to the Gossip Girl scene... I don't know what I was thinking. But I have been waiting for so long for it to show up and I am so glad it's here!

That's all for today people! Hope you have a wonderful day!

  2. I also just found your blog & am a new follower! I've heard so many people who work in schools say the full moon makes such a difference! It's so crazy! I've a huge nail polish junkie but I've never tried any of that line of sally hansen polishes! Definitely adding it to my list though!

  3. Gossip girl is literally the best. Hands down my favorite show. I own all of the seasons minus the last one. The plot is great, the characters are wonderful, the music is interesting, and the characters' fashion is so intriguing.

    Happy Sunday!

  5. This makes me laugh so hard, because the thing about the full moon is SO TRUE. I am a huge believer in astrology, and I know that the moon's gravitational pull DEFINITELY has an effect on us.
